FaceTrackNoir I need some help

Hello Group,

 

Well I finally got the FaceTrackerNoir software and the 64 DLL installed and working in ROF, I think that I worked on the curve settings. Logitech Extreme 3D Pro settings, my webcam is a Logitech Brio hd pro, nice setup. Everything seems to be working together, except I think that I need a bit of help on setting curves, assignments to the joystick and mouse. I have made adjustments on curves and started the game to check the results for about 6 hours today, After one of the curve adjustments, I couldn't even start the engine, any slight movement of my head and there was so much movement on the screen I needed dramamine and so far if I turn my head to the right I can see back to the tail, but on a left head turn I can't even see the tip of the tail. So far I have only used the mouse to start and quit the game, however if I happen to bump it on the desk while flying everything goes crazy.

Is there anyone else here on ROF that is using the FaceTrackerNoir program with the Logitech joystick & Logitect webcam on Rise of Flight, if so, and if you could, I really need some help on setup on the curves, mouse controls.

Well I got everything setup with my camera, joystick and FaceTrackNoir and I got to play the game a few times it was great being able to keep my eyes on the enemy plane and then yesterday things fell apart. Right now my computer has been working on fixing errors on the hard drive for 8 hours, I keep checking on the progress and it is still running and making repairs. I don't know what happened but my computer started slowing down and I received a notice that there were some hard drive errors, I guess at this point my computer could be running all night making repairs. Windows 10, operating system, 1 TB hard drive, Intel CPU and 16GBs of ram, camera and joystick are Logitech units.

Has anyone else encountered a problem like this?

Just a little update: I had to reinstall Windows 10 and I lost everything on my main C drive, it was a good thing that I had ROF on my externaL D drive along with the other programs that allowed me to view the DDS files, reinstall FaceTrackerNoir and everything needed to get the game up and running again. I still have not figured out what caused the windows system to stop runing properly. Every time that I started my desk top pc, windows would start with a light blue screen with different options, like start windows 10, which basically opened the same screen again, I had to start off freash by installing windows 10 again and all of the regular programs that I was using, I still need to reinatall Adobe Phototshop 7 so I can fix my Albatros D111 in light silver blue again, after that maybe I can modify the silver blue and some other colors.

 

Talk about a headache, I am just glad the game is installed on a USB drive, tomorrow I start backing up the PC hard drive on an external drive connected by USB.

 

External USB drives are a good idea for back up of pc and games.
