He-111 coordinated drop on Petit Brogel / Combat Box - Apollo Dynamic Campaign - 20230203

Some TWB helped escort 5 He-111s led by flyus747 last friday night.

 

Cloud cover necessitated a second pass on the airfield at Petit Brogel, was impressive to watch... always cool to see some people with the stones to take up early war German bombers against much higher numbers of Allied late war fighters.

I love group bombing missions like this. How planned out was this? Was it a squadron thing or just some random people on Combat Box? I will always join up one of these if I'm playing online.

KG76 sets them up, they usually post on Combat Box Discord, they hit me up on the side about escorts because I've posted that TWB will try to escort whenever we can.

 

Right now there is a KG76 run scheduled for tonight, 1800 PST / 2100 EST (it's showing 2000 for me, and I am CST, so I am assuming that's all correct)

Right now I am the only escort that is definite, I have two tentatives though, I would hope at least 3 will be able to roll tonight.
