I was just wondering if this site/forum was going to be the a new mega-site for all things IL-2 and RoF sim related? I understand the generral 777 Studios partnerships with the IL-2:CoD/BoS team and the RoF team, but I am confused by this site's apparent lack of focus on the BoS product. Are the RoF, original IL-2 and IL-2:CoD sites (and their long-standing forums with volumes of rich information) going to all be rolled into this one site?

 

On one hand, I can see how having all of 777 Studios 'houses' under one umbrella site would be great (one-stop-shopping for all your WW1 and WW2 P.C. based air combat simulation needs.)

 

On the other... Each of the platforms within 777's 'house' have long-standing sites with tons of information that long-term users can easily locate. Changing all that will definitely create a lot of friction with the fan base, not to mention a huge work-load on the admin staff.

 

The gist of this note... can this site please hold it's focus to the BoS product line? I completely understand why 777 would like to see a lot of cross-sim discussion to generate interest in their other products, but it's confusing to new readers here (such as myself) who were looking for BoS information and instead run across RoF, original IL-2 and IL-2 CoD discussions. I had to ensure I hadn't been inadvertently linked back to the RoF forums.

 

Focus please, we're not all A.D.D. kids.
