One for the devs: Logitech X56 Throttle seperation and drift.

Problem:

Throttle seperation. Whilst the right throttle on the X56 HOTAS will work independently of the left, The left takes the right throttle with it in all modes and aircraft. I've tried all the twin engined aircraft and you cannot advance the left throttle independently without the right following alongside it.

I thought it might be my Logitech X56 Rhino, but the seperation on DCS and IL2 CloD and IL2 1946 is clear and crisp. This would appear to be a an IL2 GB bug only.

Can the devs please investigate? I Have key binded left and right throttles seperately in the in-game settings and set the axises for left and right, and it seems okay, but in game the right sticks to the left, but not vice versa.

Throttle Drift. In the Arado the throttle 'wanders' up and down the power range. It doesn't do this on other aircraft. This can be very annoying during cruise and approach. Again, I think this is a known issue, and are the devs any closer to a solution?

Make sure you have not the axis also set for both engines, as is usually the case.

I have the very same setup, but none of the described issues you mentioned - the dual throttle works fine for me. So:

- Check your realism settings and check if you have any helpers or assistants activated (your throttle drift made me think about this)

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Going through the in-game key bindings I found that there are several throttle control bindings

Throtle

Throttle 1

Throttle 2

And even a throttle 3 (Junkers 52?)

So I deleted all the bindings for Throttle, and just set up and checked axes for throttle 1 and Throttle 2 seperately. The lone 'Throttle' seems to be for sticks that only have one channel. Now it works fine and there is clear seperation

The drift has gone too, but as x56 owners know, the throttle is not perfect on this equipment.

Thanks for advice everybody.
