kraut1 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) Hi All, just flew my first Me410 fighter bomber mission. In general everything worked well, great plane! Only one question: sometimes there is a "buzzing sound" for ca.10 seconds, what does that mean? A stall warning maybe? (I did not stall, but maybe angle of attack was a bit high.) firdimigdi Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 The pie is ready, check the oven quick! Actually sounds like it's your contact altimeter. 2

firdimigdi Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Doesn't have to be low, it'll buzz if you reach the altitude set (you can adjust this - look for any key bindings that mention "contact altimeter"). 1
Jaws2002 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Yep. It's the contact altimeter. It helps with dive bombing. You setup the buzzer for the release altitude, so you know when to drop. 1 1
Trooper117 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 There's a wasps nest behind your pilot seat! ? 5

(I did not stall, but maybe angle of attack was a bit high.) In a dive, it starts 250m over the set target altitute and stops exactly at the set altitude to be precise. I think contact altimeter is set to 1000m by default, if not mistaken Edited January 31, 2023 by FTC_Zero 1
