This guy of Boston Dynamics could have been radio-controlled, don't you think so you people? (thus not equipped with authentic autonomous artificial intelligence... an assumption of mine only... I know nothing about these modern technologies).

from what it looks like, the toster is programed to go to locations and do things at them, he dosent decide where to go but how to get where hes tasked to go... so you can tell him to patrol certen area and sound alarm if something is out of normal parametars and so on...

dog toster is used like that in industrial enviroments and so on...  or it can just "learn" to piss in cup:

Agreed but likely inevitable unless some cataclysm wipes out humans or sends us back to the middle ages (or further).

...Middle Ages is perhaps the optimistic view of the future, as things are going now    ?

 

( PS :  I was just watching TV news and debate, and a charming lady was talking about about Nukes and some Leaders  behavior ...she looked neither laughing nor frightened by the various possibilities and smiled as she was choosing some gowns color ! )

Am I totally out ... or are we really living in such a crazy world were Nukes are just as possible tomorrow as a rainy day ???
