What are the differences between old & new C-47 skins?

Can someone post pictures of one of the older now non-working C-47 skins & the newer ones from the new template? I'd like to edit the old ones out of my skin folder so they no longer could accidentally be used.?

The new skins will be comprised of TWO documents as the new tamplate is just that, two-parts.

when you enlarge the old template (and DDS files) x133.27, you can copy details out that might 'fit' the new template.

I noticed that-they appear to have different layouts-why?

Because the old one was just for the AI verssion. This one is pretty much twice the size for added detail.

WHY would you want to do that? You would be enlarging the actual pixels and everything, leading to thicker panel lines and such...

If they have a single file AND the fuselage is on top and wings below. Then remove it. It's the old one.

The new ones have two files.

If you run HSD, just delete your C-47 folder and restart HSD. HSD will then restore only the new and properly working skins.

The old skins look like this and you can delete them. (example is a skin by szelljr)

IMO small fry for the main layers.. You have the "rougher" layer to work from when redrawing and creating a new one.

But your new template of course is far better LoL and you won't have all the detailed special new items.
