Independent port/starboard cockpit window operation

Dear 1CGS,

 

I thought of a fun project to give the interns.

In aircraft like the P-38, you may open and close the windows in-flight, but it's an all-or-nothing affair.

My proposed feature would allow the pilot to direct their gaze off-center, and press the window open/close key to operate only the window on that side of the cockpit.

 

This functionality is also on my wishlist for the Me 109s that had the capability in real life... Anything is possible.
