Restore scripted campaign states after reinstall?

Hello there,

 

I did, after 6 years, my first reinstall of the game, I was starting to get crashes to desktop.

Seems to have helped, had none since.

I'd like to restore the progress state of my scripted campaigns and was wondering if I could just copy them over from the old install.

Has anyone tried that?

I don't want to mess up my fresh install trying that without really knowing how that campaign stuff is working ..

You can copy campaign folders. Most of them won't work and need to be updated. Progress is saved elsewhere. Possibly here: \IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\swf\il2\usersave

Copying the campaignstate.txt from the directory you pointed to did it.
