Tonester Posted January 11, 2023 Author Posted January 11, 2023 Haha…yeah its under the keyboard…its taken a long time to get to this point…i started around 2003 with European Air War, a low spec Celeron, and a game pad!
RAAF492SQNOz_Steve Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 (edited) I have the same NLR rig and MFG pedals as you and it is interesting to see that you got the MFG pedals to fit on the plate of the Wheel Deck assembly. When I looked at fitting the MFG's they did not fit...... Also, How long have you had the NLR Rig? Mine is only a couple of months out of warranty and the seat base is peeling very badly on the base right hand cushion. Starting to go on the seat back as well but that is no where near as bad yet. NLR have used a really el cheapo seat covering vinyl IMO. Very disappointed with that aspect of the NLR rig. I am just about ready to apply some Gaffer tape (or 'Instant Airframe' as we called it in the service) to extend the life of the seat base material. Edited January 11, 2023 by RAAF492SQNOz_Steve Typo

Hey mate…yes i wasnt overly impressed with what i got for my outlay with NLR…i found the attachments from the flight pack that the peripherals sit on to be too low so used extra square tubing to bump them up to a more reasonable height. Getting the MFGs to fit was a head scratcher too…what i did was loosened off the feet and tilted them inwards at the front and now they JUST fit in and move without hitting the posts…its really only just too..i can send you a pic if youd like but i imagine you have already come up with a workaround of your own?
Crocogator Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 do you need to lean forward with full forward throw? looks like your shoulder will take a beating if you don't get a seat cutout.

No the seat is in the fully back position…when i sit down i slide the seat forward until its hard up against the base so not a stretch. a cutout would be nice but the only seat i know of that comes that way is the monstertech blackbird and its just too damn pricey here…just cant justify $1300 on a seat Edited January 13, 2023 by Tonester 1
