Wardog5711 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Everyone, This is a reminder that the forum is not a place for political statements of any kind. Any such expressions, no matter how sincere, clever or harmless you think they are, will not be allowed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but we must respect each other, be civil and avoid ANY political debates here. WWII and WWI history is controversial enough and we don't need to debate the 21st century's issues here. It creates unwanted tension in an already complicated community, so please try to keep your comments related to the sim itself. We are an international team and an apolitical organization. The company, the team, and the forum have been that way since the beginning and will remain so as we move forward. And we will aggressively defend this policy. There are many other places on the internet where you can express yourself so it doesn't need to be done here. Additionally: Due to political messages having been posted in Avatars and signatures either purposely or possibly without your knowledge using image hosting tricks, this feature has been disabled. This is a company-owned platform and is open to the public. We do not want any potentially controversial subjects being displayed on it. As stated above, feel free to do that elsewhere. 1 2 1 1 7
Wardog5711 Posted January 9, 2023 Author Posted January 9, 2023 Everyone, Do not post any pictures that show swastikas. NONE. Not from books, your plastic models or even photographs. This policy is not open for debate. I understand it was historical, but it is also illegal in a number of countries. Including the one this forum is hosted in. If the mods see a post with a swastika that has not been edited out, they will hide the thread and give you a chance to replace it. But we don't have time to waste constantly policing this and repeat violations will result in a ban. You can put such images in a spoiler. This information is listed in the forum rules. Follow them, please. 2 1 5 2 4
1CGS LukeFF Posted November 19, 2023 1CGS Posted November 19, 2023 Guys, as a reminder, images with swastikas in them need to be posted behind a spoiler tag or entirely blurred out. So, that doesn't mean just putting a little dot or a smiley face in the middle of the symbol. I've been kinda lax with this, but going forward any posts that don't have said symbol properly hidden will be removed without warning. 1 4
