Rapier07 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) I have CH Throttle and Pro Pedals and purchased the VKB Gladiator NXT Pro. Works perfectly with COD . Wanted to connect with Great battles BOS recognizes new controller on beginning screen, but does not allow me to bind/recognize any axis or keystroke. I looked through forums. through Steam, unchecked steam game pad, Set up VK Sim utility as others had. restarted game multiple times same message, new controller, but unable to bind. I checked the devices ini folder, not there. It recognizes my CH throttle, but not the pedals. Any help would be appreciated. Window 10 recognizes the controller as well as Steam. Is there a way to copy and paste a VKB NXT Pro command line into the ini folder? I posted also in the Tech Issues and Bug reports Edited January 8, 2023 by Rapier07 Type
Rapier07 Posted January 11, 2023 Author Posted January 11, 2023 I also got the Battle of Normandy DLC and return to BOS for a while. I find going back and forth every 6 months it feels fresh with different planes and challenges. I remapped and connected my CH Fighterstick with Pro Throttle and Pedals. Instantly recognized and with the CH manager program, I flew a successful test flight. No issue with buttons or modes. For now, I will use this in BOS and my Gladiator NXT in CLOD. I wish someone would make a simple guide for pilots and level 1 or 2 application/system users rather than needing to be a programmers
Sokol1 Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Go to the game data\input folder and rename the file "Devices.txt". Plug the VKB NXT and start the game and try assign the axes, buttons.
RyanR Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Have you run the VKB config utility as "administrator"? Also worth force loading the firmware. I just got a VKB stick, and swapped grips to the WWII grip. The software is a bit frustrating, and mapping the inputs to IL-2 was easier to do in VS Code. -Ryan
