C-47 Skytrain (Requiem tutorial)

BTW what's the difference between a DC3 and a DC2? Engines? DC 2 example:

The DC-3 more or less is a larger/ upscaled version.

Fuselage is longer and wider with a greater wingspan being the visible changes.

First envisioned as a simple enlargement of the DC-2, Douglas engineers quickly realized the new airplane would need to be significantly redesigned. The fuselage became longer and wider with rounded sides, the wings and tail surfaces were enlarged and strengthened, the nose section and landing gear were modified, and new, more powerful Wright engines were installed. Despite superficial similarity to the DC-2, the DC-3 eventually shared less than 10 percent of parts with its predecessor.

So the above plane is a DC2, now i get why making a skin for it with the c49a model cannot be done exactly regarding lettering etc.

Hence my confusion. Also i was trying to get the lettering below the windows right; 2nd attempt.  I need some ole Hat Trick ..

And there's no Metal & Shiny shader in the IL2 template it seems; much needed here. And those nice little curtains ! => Modder help needed.
