Blitzen Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I'd like to move the BoS install to another drive (D:) from where it currently is in E: drive through the Steam utility ( I have used this before,) but am unable to do so. I get this screen when I try . I can't figure out why it gives me no other options. Can someione explain what I'm missing.Appeal to Steam got me here to asl the question.
FlyingH Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 You can´t do it that way, you just cut and paste the whole steam folder or uninstall the whole shabang and do a new installation but malke sure you direct it to where you want it to reside.

So is problem that it gives you option of Blitz insted BoX ? Go on steam, librery, select Great battles , right click and select properties, local files, and move instal folder, clicking on down pointing arrow should give you options of drives to select. Is problem that it dont give you option of D drive ? If this, go in Steam, settings, downloads, click on steam librery folder option, and storage menager will open up and you can add D drive by clicking on +. (star next to drive name shows this is main one and will be automaticly selected to instal new games). Edited January 8, 2023 by CountZero
Cloyd Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) From the main top left menu: Steam-> Settings-> Downloads-> Steam Library Folders-> click "+" under Storage Manager. A pop-up will open with a drop-down to select one of your drives. A new folder will be created on that drive - "Steam Library". After that, the drop-down on the "Move Content" pop-up should show the new location. "Been there, done that." ? Oops, Count Zero beat me to it. Edited January 8, 2023 by Cloyd
