Good evening guys,

i have trouble to keep the D28`s curtiss electric prop within the given limits. The prop is "hunting", fluctuating up to 100 rpm and more especially at continous power of 2550 rpm if the IAS is changing what happens continously during combat. It is interesting that D22`s  hamilton hydromatic is doing this much better fluctuating not more than 40 rpm overall. In case of the D28 it is quite exhausting to keep alwasy an eye and readjust prop speed to keep it more less at 2500 rpm during manoeuvering.

What is your experience about this?

Been known for quite some time. Don’t know if it’s a bug or a “feature” but I have not come across other planes that do this.
