Dragon1-1 Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 I'm getting a weird issue in VR since the last update. In my left eye, turning my head in the horizontal plane causes a really odd distortion, as if motion is "doubled up" somehow. Right eye is fine. Neither WMR home nor DCS show this behavior, it appears to be specific to Il-2. Has anyone run into this before? I'm using OpenXR and a Reverb G2. This distortion makes for a rather unpleasant feeling.
firdimigdi Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Make sure that your Headset Display settings in the Mixed Reality Settings of Windows is set to this: IL-2 really doesn't like it otherwise.
Dragon1-1 Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 OK, I switched to "best performance" a while ago to kill the WMR mirror and gain some performance in DCS. I'll see if it helps.
firdimigdi Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 (edited) You can turn off the WMR desktop mirror by pressing the pause button located in the bottom center of its window. Edited January 4, 2023 by firdimigdi typos
