robbiec Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 (edited) Picked up a G2 V2 over the happy season and am currently dialling it in using OpenComposition. Long story short, when I select the E series 109 I'm sitting way too low whereas on the F or G series it looks OK. PgUp and PgDn don't seem to help either. Also FW 190A series looks OK. Is this a known issue? Thanks in advance S! Robbie Edited January 4, 2023 by robbiec Additional detail
ITAF_Caster Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Hi! Try this way: before the game starts go to data LuaScripts snapviews copy the full "cvc =" line from "bf109 *.svc" that you like and replace the same line in "bf109e7.svc" if that is not enough, do the same with the first 10 lines group. If something goes wrong or you dislike it, the easy way is: delete the "bf109e7.svc" file it will be recreated at the first game restart Bye! Happy New Year and... Good Luck! 1
Crocogator Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 You can reset your default seating position using a key, I think it's F12. For VR its essential to get many sights to work correctly. For example, the default position in the 109 makes it so that you look through it using neither eye without moving your head left (thereby placing your right eye behind the sight). This is fine on monitors since you are effectively a cyclops. But in vr it means many sights don't seem to work properly.
Arioch_RN Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 The procedure I follow when sitting in an aircraft for the first time - move to where I want the view to be (ie. with the sights lined up with my dominant eye) and press f10 (this sets the default view for that craft). I then sit back into my normal comfortable position and press Num5 to reset my view. 1
