I am noticing if you need to take a tank on the road for a trip longer than 6 or 7 keypads (say you're off to hit a depot or a Temp), that you will frequently overheat the engine and require periodic stops to cool down.  Are there any radiator controls one could enable to help prevent this?  I didn't see any, but I know on planes they can use rads to help control engine temps.

Depending on the vehicle, it was a real world issue as well.

I think on German side only the half track has it, but it is done by the AI driver, no keybindings. The problem is, that the vehicles are constantly driven with maximum power. As long as there is no way to tell the driver to not kick the throttle through the floor, there won't be a solution to this issue.

The problem is that you cannot set an adequate cruising speed for your tank.

If you press W the driver just floors the accelerator, which will overheat the engine.

The most sensitive in my experience are the KV-1 and and the SU-152.

The flak truck has at least some radiator controls but those are handled by the game.

If you use a joy stick, then utilize the throttle pack from said joystick to control speed/throttle.    I have a thrustmaster warthog and the throttle pack doubles nicely as

steering/ throttle control. having a mini joystick on the throttle lends itself to the gear limiter key bind. This setup allows you to set and maintain whatever speed you want.

Definitely recommend setting your flight throttle up as the throttle for tanks.  100% full throttle,  75% half throttle, 50% zero throttle plus brakes,  0% full throttle reverse,  etc.

Using anything that's not an axis is not ideal.  There's times when you need to slowly creep forward with just enough power to move the tank.
