Anyone else have/had this Trackir5 issue?

I'm flying a career in BOMoscow. I fly an I-16 but sometimes the squadron allocates me a MiG 3.

The Trackir works fine in the I-16 but when I get into the MiG and try to recenter my view (F12),

it centers it askew and down to the left. I'm unable to fly like that and have to abort.

I use Requiems Trackir profile and the only change was to make F12 the center view.

I'm not fatfingering the F key so what am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you need to adjust your pilots position in the seat.  "Head" position.  Use the insert, delete, etc keys and press f10 once you get the proper position behind the gun sight.  This adjustment is plane specific.
