rodders-61 Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Hi, First hello. I've just purchased Stalingrad with the other four zones ie Moscow, etc and have installed Stalingrad via steam. It took 70gb of space. I read somewhere that at least 250gb is needed. The other four DLC's are in my library according to steam. Do i need to install the other 4 DLC's as there doesn't seem a way to do that. It's confusing as they are listed in the drop down list in Stalingrad. Do i just click on the appropriate battle. I'm only asking as there are a lot of scripted campaigns which are locked. Can anyone help with advice, Cheers, Rodders.

Skycat1969 Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Some of the scripted campaigns are separate purchases, and of those some are only available through the web store because they use maps other than Stalingrad. Other scripted campaigns are 'free' but you need the associated Battle pack or Tank Crew or Flying Circus to unlock them. Go to the Careers tab and see what is locked or available there. You should have five campaign theaters. Four of them are self-explanatory: Moscow, Stalingrad, Kuban, Normandy. The fifth, Battle of the Rheinland, is the career mode for Battle of Bodenplatte.

IDK were you heard about 250GB but bad information is pretty common in flight sim communities. 250GB is how big the game is if you download the 10,000 plus skins from HSD Personally I only download a few of the skins symlink my skin folder onto an hdd my skin folder now has 2500 files and takes up 40GB saved 10GB running LZX compression I use compator from github on both with max compression (LZX) on both my skin folder and my entire game folder
PatrickAWlson Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I have 86 GB under my install folder. 11 GB is skins, so yeah, what @RossMarBowsaid. An install is 70 GB give or take.
IckyATLAS Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I have 102 GB total GB Folder. Very little on skins, only a few I made, but a lot with missions and campaigns, and mostly my screenshot library that has 20GB worth of screenshots.
