5.004b VR FPS Decrease (AMD)

FYI... After latest patch to 5.004b in SteamVR the FPS tanked significantly.  Solid 90FPS on Index pre patch to 55FPS post patch.  Reduced FPS even at start menu.  AMD 6900XT

Changing from SteamVR to OpenXR gave me huge boosts too

Delete the startup.cfg file and delete the updates folder.

WIn11 issue it seems.  Updated System>Display>Graphics>Change default graphics settings>Optimization for windowed games = On  This corrected the issue. 

 

I ran into something similar a while back where I needed to update Settings>Gaming>Game Mode = On.

Thanks for the tips...this netted me 15-20 fps in vr with a rtx 3080.
