coyote137 Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 I have just returned to il2 since the very first installment many-many years ago and just purchased il2 flying circus, All is installed and running ok in 2d mode, Have also setup steam vr for my hp reverb g2 headset, Went for a flight and the vr seams weird- While Sitting in cockpit i can look around 360 degrees and all is ok, But when i try to look over side of cockpit to look at the ground below i just seems to pan left-right-forward-back, does not let me look over side of cockpit to below I also fly solely in VR in MSFS and i can look over side-below and all works ok, just seems weird and not working right in il2, Am i missing a setting somewhere thank you

coyote137 Posted December 28, 2022 Author Posted December 28, 2022 thank you for reply, I have just tried with limit vr view on-off makes no difference,
=THORN=Sphere- Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Seems silly but you have got plenty of light in your room haven't you? I've got a quest 2 but mine will drift sometimes if it's too dark. Can you look at the floor in the menu screen? If so then it's likely just a camera config issue, maybe setting the game to default can fix the issue?

For me, going into Settings/Camera and selecting “Limit VR view” then clicking Accept gives me a ‘magic bounce back’ whenever I try to lean over the side - something I need to do often in Flying Circus ? If you can move your face into cockpit geometry and clip through it, then I would imagine your view isn’t limited by in-game settings.
credmo51 Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Coyote137, I had the same issue. Am using a Reverb G2, Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) and Steam VR. In WMR I use the seated position, not the full room setting. I went back into WMR and simply reset my sitting position and this fixed the problem. I can again get out of my plane's cockpit, look over the side at the scenery and walk on the wing, or similarly check out the exterior and interior of my tank (so "immersive"). Hope it works for you.
coyote137 Posted December 30, 2022 Author Posted December 30, 2022 thanks credmo51, I use the same settings as you, been flying msfs past months and not recalibrated g2 in wmr for a while, soon as i recalibrated last night and tried il2 again, all is good
credmo51 Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 coyote137, Glad I could help. You will be able to do some wing walking now.
