Career continuity with scripted campaigns

So I just started my first scripted campaign. I'm new to the game overall, but I've been playing career mode only so far. Figured I'd pick up Blazing Steppe since it takes place right around the time I'm at in the career mode. Blazing Steppe actually starts two days before where I'm at! Not only that, but it also takes place at the airbase my division is based at in the career! 

That got me thinking; It would be pretty cool if, during the career mode, I was prompted to engage in the scripted campaign when it would have actually started. Then afterwards, the career could pick back up on the date that the scripted campaign ends. 

 

Not only would be be cool, and present some continuity between the two, but the campaign popping up on the appropriate date could serve as an advertisement for those who haven't purchased that campaign yet, which could help offset the cost of the development time needed to implement it.
