Happened to me too with the p-40 and with the Bf-109 E-7. Two IA returning from battle flaps full down without any damage.

Multiple times reported AI failure on the P-40. Ridiculous.

I have also experienced this problem with the last several P-40s in a formation having their flaps full down, so much so that the leader had to circle to gather the formation.  Only to have them continue to fly with full flaps.  This must be corrected.
