A Little Advice Needed Regarding TrackIR 4 & IL2 Great Battles.

Hi All,

 

I've tried looking for an answer on this forum & elsewhere but can't seem to find a solution to my problem.

 

I decided to resurrect my old TrackIR 4 system & utilise it within IL2 COD Blitz & the Great Battle series. I downloaded the latest TrackIR software & drivers (version 5.4.2)

I've installed & ran the software (using Administrator) and the IR receiver is working as it should, picking up the TrackClip & mirroring my head movements within the program.

 

This is where I'm having trouble, I can run & use it without any issue within IL2 COD Blitz with all head movements behaving as they should within the cockpit. But when I start using IL2 GB, I can only get very slight movements moving in & out as well as rolling from side to side in the cockpit. I'm unable to pitch or yaw within the cockpit.

 

I've ensured that I start TrackIR with admin rights before starting Great Battles (Steam Edition) without success, made sure the profile I'm using is set to exclusive & I've selected IL2 Battles of Stalingrad from the list of titles with no joy & have even tried using a profile from another players settings. 

 

I'm not sure why COD Blitz works straight away & GB doesn't.

Scratch the majority of this post as sod's law, I got it working (no idea how!) The only movement I'm unable to do now is look down to the cockpit gauges?!
