Reduce Text Chatter Lines

I know there's probably an easy way to do this, and I remember it from the old IL2FB days, but I can't seem to remember, or find a way to do it on IL2 CLOD.  Just wanting to take it down to 2, maybe three lines at the top when the AI is talking.

Sure, alt+left click the window (or area rather) where the text shows up to select the info window, then right click and edit (customize).
There you can change a lot of stuff, like how many lines (iirc history), how long they show, size, transparency etc. If you enable its frame you can resize it and if you enable the title you can move it around. Disable them again so they go away if it’s the case.

Cool, thanks, even though I owned it, I never really learned the ins and outs of this sim like I did 1946.  I have it all customized now, appreciate the help.
