Flight leader taxis around field , plows into rear of flight. Flight takes off, several flight members crash. 

Sealed in flaming plane at end. 1 burst, sealed me in. 2nd burst set plane on fire.

I had a similar occurrence in a Moscow career mission. Only our flight lead sped off towards some trees crashed in to them and exploded. Restarting the mission (unfortunately) did not exhibit the same behaviour.

Same here, exact same thing. I restarted the mission, failed it, restarted the game, computer etc. Nothing worked. Flight lead taxis around to the back of the formation, crashes into the last plane in formation. Sometimes, the rest will take off but circle the airfield.

The only thing I can think of trying next is to make myself the flight lead.
