MODS

I have yet another problem comrades, when I install mods and place them into the genetic mod enabler they do not show up in the game,

I have activated them but I am probably making a dumb mistake like usual.

any help would be appreciated but just fyi I am NOT technical minded so a simple explanation pls.

I also have enable mods in the game so that cannot be the problem.

It has to be one of three things:

a) mods option not enabled in the game, but you've got that covered allright;

b) mod files placed in wrong folder in JSGME (wrong folders structure, or maybe a typo in folder name?), but from your screenshots it's impossible to tell;

c) the mod is old / incompatible and just doesn't work with the latest game version anymore. Impossible to check without good old "trial and error" method.

 

You case might be b), but since I don't own Tank Crew can't even advise on this mod you're trying to get workin'.

Sometimes the downloads come with a double named folder. Try navigating to the mod you want to install and make sure that it's not a double folder.

"Your mod name here"/ "The mod's name again"/data/ etc.

I hope this makes sense.

 

Also, make sure you deactivate the mod before messing with it.

It could be that you have your game in the "Program files" folder! Move it out of there and I think you´llbe good to go.Simply cut it out and move it to anywhere else on your drive.

Check the JSGME.ini file and make sure the file paths for JSGME are correct.  Mod folders go in the “MODS” folder and the *.ini file should point to that folder.
