next DLC, if 109G6AS is something new, then late war poland 45 is also something new for the team... so i expect youll get it as next DLC.

they literally said in the dev Q&A that they were going to be announcing some collector planes that are variants of ones we have in game. This is obviously one of those, not "something wholly new".

Not necessarily. If it had a timed fuse air-bursting 250kg bomb I'd be more likely to suspect it. But it might just be to give the P-47 an opponent at higher altitudes (or a Spit HF if that is the other collector).

The MW50 modification essentially makes it a G-14/AS.

Great that the 109 stable is being developed further... but why make a high altitude interceptor when there are no high altitude bombers for it to intercept? Seems a bit redundant

It was used in the low altitude role as well, quite a bit in fact.

All options that were a retro-fit for G6/AS were standardized and built new at factory = G14/AS.

We would have a whole lot of Spits more, if the game would model theatres with RAF from 1941-1945. Well maybe one day that will happen.

Can't grumble with the RAF stuff we have to be honest ... and I'd sooner have a decent D-Day map than another theatre with a disappointing map but I'll be dicing with trouble if I ever mention the word 'hedgerows' again ?

I seem to recall some mention of two collector planes.  I wonder what the other will be.  A-20G/J, P-38J-15, and Spit F.IXc would all be nice additions to round out the western front plane set.  And some sort of AI B-17 or B-24 to give this high altitude fighter a reason to fly at high altitude would be great.

I believe the other plane is supposedly the LA5F, as it was leaked.

Did not. I expected this. 
I think all the collectors announced will be of no interest to me. It seems however there is enough interest to support the effort
