Put generator next to searchlight. Target link from generator to searchlight. Thats it.!!!  When enemy plane are in range the lights will switch on and search for aircraft.

Generators are not required, the searchlights work on their own just fine. Looks like generators are for looks only.

Correct. Search lights will be on automatically after a certain hour of the day in the evening. The generator is not needed.

What you can do is switch on or off the searchlights, landlights. For that you will use the Force Complete MCU. When set to High searchlights will be switched OFF. When set to Low the searchlights will be switched ON.

You do not need any MCU. !

You need a MCU if you want to control the light.

 

As IckyATLAS wrotte, the light is automatic with the hour of the day. Sometimes, you need to control the light, and in that case, you need a MCU.
