BoN - Logging in

I have all IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles on Steam, with the exception of the new Battle of Normandy, which I purchased from the IL-2 store.  So, I normally run the game from the BoN shortcut.

 

My two questions:

1)  Why do I have to log in EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to play IL-2? EVERY SINGLE TIME.

2) What is up with the cursor and the ENTER button?  The cursor refuses to go over the ENTER button so that I can click the ENTER button and enter the game. It stopped doing that for a while, but now it is back. The cursor will go everywhere EXCEPT the ENTER button.

 

As it stands, it is more effort than it is worth for me to play this game.

There is an offline mode. But you need to be online for multiplayer obviously or to run the career mode. 
 

Not sure about the mouse problem. Are you somehow running the game at a different resolution than your display?

 

PS I see you’re asking about signing in and not just being online. Not sure why that’s a problem except the mouse issue. Most games ask you to sign in somehow for DRM purposes.
