[SOLVED]Weird particle glitch

Nothing much to say. I don't know how to replicate this, I just downloaded the game and the particles are like this. Other games don't seem to have this issue.

I searched for a few hours and found nothing related to this issue.

I tried:

 verifying game files

 reinstalling graphics drivers

 restarting

but nothing has changed.

This also happens to ground fires, explosions and such.

Clouds don't cause any problems.

SOLUTION, I FOUND A SOLUTION YES.

My solution was to, as mentioned in "EDIT 3"

I will try using Display Driver Uninstaller and download all recommended drivers for my machine.

Basically, used Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall all my graphics drivers (it's 1 driver lol), then using the AMD Radeon Software, I found the latest driver, or just a driver for my GPU that wasn't broken, restarted and it was fixed.

I am glad that it wasn't my GPU breaking.

As you can see, there are no more any rainbow particle artifacts on the smoke (note that the smoke is barely visible, but I made sure that it appeared before verifying it was fixed). The same particles appeared whenever I would shoot my guns and the tracers produced smoke trails. Hit effects also caused these particles to appear.

EDIT 1

I reinstalled the game and the problem is still present.

Looked of other games have this issue, and they do, but the way they fix the problem is by restarting the mission, or changing their "particle" settings, settings that IL2BOX does not have.

EDIT 2

I installed Counter Strike Source, the problem is not present in it.

I was initially going to try out if the problem would appear in Arma Reforger, but the game did not want to start, but I don't suspect that it was the GPUs fault, more likely that the new updates have caused this.

I will try out other games and report back.

EDIT 3

I installed Counter Strike Global Offensive, the problem is not present.

I will try using Display Driver Uninstaller and download all recommended drivers for my machine.

I also might try some other games.

Christmas particle mixture injected in the exhaust to create a nice colorful smoke trail.

Recent option hit combined Keys: Left Ctrl-Right Alt Left-Shift Left Alt Ctrl-Left Shift-Right C

To work flawlessly the keys must be hit in sequence with 134 msec interval.

Bump, has nobody seen this problem before?

Hate to go there but I had something like that.  It started out intermittent and slowly got worse.  Turned out my graphic card was dying.  I was lucky in that the card was just shy of 3 years old and within the warranty period and I received a replacement.

Reading the little cases that there have been online, the initial signs of a GPU kicking the bucket don't seem to match up, since this is just a particle effect problem, I don't see any other problems on my screen that would mean that it's breaking, although this could be my wishful thinking.

I am currently downloading another game that likely uses the same or even more modern graphics, and will see if the particles there cause any problems. It's also a lot heavier than IL2 so if it does not have such an issue, I suspect is a software issue.

And may we ask what your solution was? So that if someone else has this problem come up.
