Can someone give me a crash course in placing an NDB station to my own Airfield? I try to enhace the "Fire and Ice" campaign a bit.

Thanks

Set NDB as Linked Entity

In advanced properties set coalition and be sure to turn beacon on by setting the value to 1 (Bacon channel is a Boolean it seems, so 0 is off, 1 is on).

As expected...complicated stuff. My skills with the Mission editor is near 0. I can replace a skin for the AI, that's it. And this is ok, I dont want to write missions or want to dig deeper into this stuff.

Thats why I asked for a crash course in how to place the NDB object near my own Airfield.

I need to know, after opening a mis. file:

-How can I find my own Air Field

-How to choose the NDB object

-How to place them on the right spot.

It would be difficult to give you a “crash course” for the 3 questions you noted in a “forum” post environment.

I suggest you start with a YT video like this one to answer your questions.  There is NO quick answers to tenIL2 FMB.

There are many, many other instructional videos as well to help you out.  Just do a search for “il2 mission builder”.

In the tool bar, click the 4th button over (to the right of the ruler); it changes the view to a map which you should find easier to scroll to find your airfield.

The NDB object is not easy to find in the object list.  It is in the "Vehicles" section, so scroll through the vehicles to find it, and select it.  Then click the map where you want it.  Make it a linked entity, and follow what Sketch's image above.
