FeuerFliegen Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 I have noticed recently that the last few planes I've flown (Me262, Hurricane, Me410, Bf109 G-6 Late, Yak-1b) all acted differently that I'm used to given the same trim or stabilizer settings. They all required a percentage more towards tail heavy to stay level, with a given speed. I recall the Me262, once I got near top speed, could be at 90%+ (nose heavy) stabilizer setting to fly level, but now I was doing close to 800kph at about 1200m, and it needed to just be a 33% setting to fly level. Same with Bf109, at speeds where I'd be around 78-80% stabilizer setting, now requires about 50% to fly level. (which reads about 0 on the stabilizer indicator on the lower left hand side of the cockpit) Me410, which always had me using about 83% nose heavy trim to fly level at near top cruising speeds, is now at about 43%. Has anyone else noticed this? it seems to be a very recent change.
FeuerFliegen Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 I realized that somehow my joystick's axis's pitch and roll settings got all changed around. Very odd since I've never touched the roll settings before. You may close the thread if you'd like.
