Historically correct PWCG GB Blank skins - All done

I have added the hakencreuz to all the 'PWCG Blank skins' packs for my own use. They are available here for anyone who wants them.

 

These skins also include a number of fixes (such as misaligned/inverted textures etc). This is in no way a criticism of the great work Pat has done providing them for us.

This is under the wrong topic but here are five reworked skins for the P51B5 of 354th FG. I noticed the nose art needed fixing up and there was an odd half air intake on the RHS that I just had to fix.

Nicely done HotPursuit and greatly appreciated. Now we have squadron specific skins, with tactical and squadron markings AND proper historical markings for German aircraft. This is the combination of things GB skins have needed all along. 

 

Thanks also to Pat and anyone else who's work has made all this a reality.

Just got all these downloaded, they look great!! Like Snafu said, historical squadron skins with proper tactical codes is HUGE for immersion, really brings the game to a new level!

Reporting an issue: in a Moscow career, there seems to be a missing 109 F2s skin as the units in the mission were using the default (historically incorrect) livery - I'm going to check which squadron it was as I still have the missions' file and report back.

"bf109f2_early_I_JG52" should be "bf109f2_early_II_JG52"; also all skins needed this corrected.

 

Changing those things above did nothing to fix me getting the Official Late Factory 1940.

 

"squadronId": 20112052 is listed in the header.

 

"squadId": 20111052 was listed on all the skins.

 

Changed this to "squadId": 20112052 on all the skins and now getting the correct skin for II_JG52.

 

Also, found II_JG51.json was pointing at I_JG51 and changed that.
