Here is a short video showing what would appear to be a bug with the HE-111. These planes activate shorty after mission begin but then the bomb bay doors on the lead plane open, bombs get dropped, bomb bay doors close, and planes take off. Seems recently other people have been experiencing weird behavior with AI bomber flights.

A mission you made yourself?

Yes.

Ok, went in and deleted the lead plane, put it back in, reconnected everything and no early bomb release! Yeah! Only issue I still see is the time it takes for them to form-up. Number 1 and 2 pretty much stay in place, however, 3 thru 7 go all out of formation, random climbing, and all end up about 9 kms behind the lead.  Twice the lead plane made circles back around and eventually the formation was perfect just before reaching the target. I still think something is buggy with the bomber AI routines, as a few other members have made mention of in other threads.

Yes, bombers forming up seems to be the current issue.   Are your waypoints above 1500m?

Glad to hear the other issue is resolved.

I noticed that behavior too with 7 spitfires and Ai take off.

Also that they tend not always to stick on the runway path, but like to move a wee bit sideways towards the grass beside it.
