A question about Truesky and it's lighting of the environment and aircraft.

I mentioned yesterday that it appears the Trees and hedges have lest of a 'shimmering' shadow effect in the latest released video.

So in regard to Truesky, is it a weather simulator that reacts to the current lighting generated in Cliffs of Dover or does it bring its own lighting engine that Cliffs now uses for the landscape as well?

I'm hoping to see more sunrise/sunset videos and whether these include fog and mist effects generated by Truesky or does it still use that generated by the original engine?

Ultimately, does CloD have a new lighting engine with Truesky?

Cheers. Mysticpuma

Its a complex process, which uses trueSKY's systems as well as some of the original game engine parameters and markers... one of the reasons why integrating it is challenging.

I won't go further, it would take an explanation from the programmer who is working on the implementation... and he is busy enough with the work.  Maybe your question can be answered after the Visual Update patch is released.
