ghbucky Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 I'm trying to map the trim switches (Aileron up and down) to joystick inputs. I've tried both using hat inputs and joystick buttons. Although they successfully map in the inputs field and I click accept, they do not respond in flight. (Spitfire IXe)
ghbucky Posted December 5, 2022 Author Posted December 5, 2022 I tried deleting my inputs folder, no difference in results.
bazwelle Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 I confirm that this is also happening for me in the Spitfire IXe. Not sure sure if this issue is happening for all aircraft or just the Spit though.
Barn-Owl Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 You have to map the trim "axis" to the same button binds as your trim switches in order to get them to work.... YouTube has lots of videos on this, but here is one: 1

(Spitfire IXe) Old Chap, the IXe does not have Aileron trim, just elevator and rudder. Have a jolly good day. 2
