Installation NET Framework Error

I got this error message when installing the game. It seems to run fine without it thought. Is this needed?

The .NET Framework contains the so-called Common Language Runtime, which is needed to convert the code of programming languages such as C#, which I *think* the game at least partially uses, to something the processor can actually execute. So yes, very much needed. 

 

However, the .NET Framework is incredibly common and I think even comes pre-installed with all modern Windows versions, so even if it failed to install, chances are you already had it. If the game runs correctly, I wouldn't worry too much.

Yes the game appears to run fine. I think it’s already installed on my system.
