kedrednael Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Hi all, I just bought il2 great battles, and I am using my very old joystick. When I grab the joystick without actually moving it perceptually, it immediately gives large jittery output. I attached a screenshot from Rise Of Flight showing that my joystick gives up to 39% right roll input when I just hold it without actually moving it (it also shoots to 0% input sometimes). I can only use this joystick effectively if I can edit the response curves of every individual joystick axis. This is possible in Rise Of Flight. But this feature to adjust the responses for every joystick axis is not present in il2 great battles? Am I just missing something obvious here? It's only possible to change the pitch axis (which is the least ruined axis in my joystick)? Cheers, kedrednael

kedrednael Posted December 3, 2022 Author Posted December 3, 2022 (edited) Okay I found that I can symmetrically adjust the response curve for every axis, by pressing on the curve/graph icon on the right, where the specific joystick axis is assigned to a control. On the bottom right-hand corner of the screen I could only find how to change the pitch axis. It's not as powerful as Rise Of Flight, where you can adjust the response curve in a non-symmetrical way. But it's much better than nothing. For example: it's a shame that the dead-zone is set for the left and right side for the roll axis (and jaw), since the input only goes bad to the right side. In the Rise Of Flight example this problem was fixed 100%. 28 minutes ago, LukeFF said: Been there for a few months now. ? Luckily I did not buy this game before a couple months ago haha. Then I would have needed a new computer And a new joystick. Now I just need a new computer ?.. Edited December 3, 2022 by kedrednael
FlyToLive Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Are the response curves gone now? I can't find them. All I see is Pitch. Thanks!
