I bought Flying Circus II but you can only play quick missions. It's not playing campaigns and single missions.
It's normal?

There are scripted missions. Career mode is being developed. Perhaps the devs will consider improving the AI before it's introduced ....

Yes -- it's normal. They're still working on "Campaign mode". I seem to remember reading it's expected before the end of 2023.

Yeah looks like they've lost some of the pieces of the puzzle. Must have fallen behind the sofa.

Yep -- I keep checking every day! It's nearly the middle of March and still not here! Sigh! -- not a criticism though as I've been very happy with the continued updates! But still -- sigh!

 Friends, do not despair, sigh or rustle behind the sofa. The devs are just ensuring the AI and mission scripting is up to scratch before release.

What puts me off in starting any career is them friggin' serious looking doggone idiotic fantasy characters you're forced to attach your gaming soul to.

Once some Micky Mouse or Daffy Duck enters the choice list i might reconsider ... ?

Oh they have a weird array of serial killer mugshots to choose from. At least in Rise of Flight they used real pilot photos. Surely the devs can come up with something better than horror movie extras?

It was asked for, the ability to use real pictures etc, (WWII careers)... it fell on deaf ears.

The answer seemed to be ''use PWCG for your careers''  which is to be honest far better than the stock careers in the game... sad that isn't it.

Might just call my pilot Fritz von Munter. Starting a career in April 1917 a bi difficult with so many planes missing. No Re-8, Fe2b, Nieuport 17, Albatros DIII, Sopwith Pup. In RoF I flew Bloody April for Jasta 4 flying an Albatros DII. That's missing too. Most of these planes were made in large numbers, not one's that just served in a few units for a limited period.

Hopefully this will be fixed with FC3. Last we heard there were negotiations in progress on the next installment after FC2 is released in full. This should help with the 1917 plane set.
