The game does not start!!

Hello, this is a S.O.S to an insolvable problem. I would like to specify that i have only one game wich poses problem and it is that one!! The game does not start!!

When i lauch the game an IL2 a window appears in my task bar...and that's it! nothing happens...

When i click on this window i get the following message: Error starting "IL2 sturmovik bos" Another instance of "IL2 sturmovik bos editor" or "IL2 sturmovik baos game" Application is already running.

To date no one has been able to help me...and i the only one in the world with this problem??

I have the impression...nothing on the forums..

I have window10 pro with  graphics card GE FORCE 1060 3GB. I don't have an antivirus that blocks the game. I checked my firewall window and it allows the game.

On steam i have already checked and rechecked the files...nothing

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times..nothing....

If anyone can help me....save me... thanks

When I click start mission, it closes game and goes back to desktop. Have RTX 3080 graphics card. Windows 11 pro. Z590 chip set with intel 11700K cpu. I cannot play the game. Just purchased today Dec. 6th 2022.

Ok. Just a shot in dark. My install stopped working about 2 mo ago. Random. Had to reinstall. Took me little while to get it going. What worked i think in the end was going through all the 1c folders and making sure all ran as admin...changing the user permissions as needed..

First uninstall and clean everything. Then install from scratch from the IL2 website. In this way you have the latest clean version.

One source of problems is due to mods and if you have multiple mods (and depending how they have been installed) sometimes with versions updates conflicts may arise.

A clean stock install always solves the problem when the issue is IL2 misbehaving, and will allow you to start on a clean base to make any modification and test the effect to find the issue. If you have still the problem on a fresh clean install, stock version then it is generally not related to IL2. It can be a conflict with other software on your system configuration, system drivers, the graphics card and its drivers etc.

I have already uninstalled the game several times without success!
It is obviously a conflict with another software on my pc, but I can't figure out where the problem comes from.

Weird, some IL2 already running error. IMO something went wrong uninstalling.

Some leftovers for Stalingrad in the steam app common folder?

Maybe uninstall-reinstall Steam first.
