Uncle-Pip Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 (edited) My AI comrades in Career Mode Kuban have a problem. It only seems to affect Yak 7s, and (I think) only at Novotitarovskaya. They don't know where the ground is! All is fine in the circuit, speeds good, flaps down, gear down, but they come down short final, start the final descent early, fail to round out and truck on into the ground a few hundred metres short of the touchdown point. This is enough to crunch the propeller and sometimes injure the pilot, but not quite to collapse the undercarriage. {Edit} I should say, they don't disappear into the ground, they hit it and bounce just as if it were a real accident. Anyone else noticing this? Edited November 28, 2022 by Uncle-Pip Additional information 1
Wardog5711 Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Thanks for the info. I have passed this on to the DEV team. 1
migmadmarine Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Been having a similar issue with an airfield in the UK in Normandy's career mode, (Already reported in the testers section Wardog, so you won't need to pass it on) but it seems that there may be some difficulty for approaches if the airfield is on uneven ground. The UK airfield is atop a ridge, so approaches to two of the runways are above the low ground, so the AI makes their approach as if the runway isn't higher than the ground they are over and fly into the trees. Is Novotitarovskaya surrounded by higher/lower ground?
