TBH Most frontline german fighters outmatch the soviets in this period. That is how it was, just surprices me that they would make a flightsim from this period. Seems unfair for the VVS.

Thats exactly why they have made it because the underdog winning is always a best seller, look at the Battle Of Britian it was the same example there.

This "imbalance" might actually make for some interesting MP missions, where its not just about fighter X vs. fighter Y. There are some other planetypes around in this flightsim.

Well, since all planes in BOS have too good roll rate, FW190 should have a roll rate similar to F15 so it will be an startrek fighter

I think you all guys should be glad to have the 190 back on the il2 Series, I dont mind if its better or worse, I just like the plane to be realistic, nothing more, you can still beat it with surprise attacks,Teamwork, more experience... Etc.

And I should stop comparing it (Because you gonna start to do it when it comes out) to the old 46 title, or even War thunder, I think the devs are trying to make it as realistic as possible,so we should refeer to Historic documents from both sides, not some thing that wrote a pilot. because is not neutral, if there is something strange on it

Then again, i have read plenty of times on this forum VVS fanboys write - The reason that vvs planes fly like they do in game is because if they flew like they would in real life all german planes would get destroyed - Have anyone looked at staticstics of this period? DO you even realise how many VVS planes got downed by german machines? Im not saying that VVS planes are bad. NOT at all, if they were the war would have gone differently. Thank god it didnt! But lets be honest, germany was ahead in arial tech during this period. Not by much, the better pilot still won, mostly, but people going that the 109s are better than Yak 1's NOT FAIR etc. are correct, IT was the better plane during that period. It was not F-22 vs MIG-21 better. But still it had more advantages. Not sure where im going anymore  with this talk, if anyone understood what i am trying to say, bless you! have fun

Say what you may but the sorties I've been going up on in LA 5s we've been dishing out serious damage. Often times besting 4-5 German aircraft be them f4 g2 or fw. Without losing a single wingman.

Nothing can beat teamwork. We could be flying shopping carts as long as you are flying as a good pair your odds of winning go Way up.

I will probably be flying the 190 99% of the time online. I just love the plane and it suits my flying style perfectly. I like to model myself after Eric Hartmann. He very rarley dogfighted with a plane and would always go for the kill up close and personal (below 100m convergence).

That roll rate/dive rate is just to sexy to pass up.

All of Hartmann's kills were claimed flying variants of the Bf109. (Starting with the F and onwards to the K.)

I know that. I'm just saying Hartmann flew the 109's like how your supposed to fly the 190. He never liked dogfighting (like you shouldn't do in the 190) and would fight in a BnZ style majority of the time.

Hartmann also wrote in his bock, that 80% of the pilots he shot down, newer new he was there until the bullets hit their planes.
