Oculus Rift drops support for resold development units

Hi all,

 

be aware if purchasing Oculus Rift Devolpment Kit 2 [DK2] units at eBay, mostly from Chineses providers:

Oculus is not dropping support at all, they just don't support hardware they don't make or supply and they have been clear on that from the beginning, if you acquire a second hand unit there is nothing stopping you from creating a developer account to download the software to run the unit, you just don't have a warranty.....and that is fair enough.
