Disable background FPS drop?

Is there a way to disable the 10 fps limit that seems built-in to IL-2 when alt-tabbing away from the game? i.e. when I alt tab, it drops to 10 fps from my normal locked 50 fps - can this be disabled?

Why? Surely if you're alt-tabbing then it doesn't make any difference does it???
