Game not starting / running after last big update

After the last Update my game is not running. Keeps exiting seconds after ill start it. Did a verification of my game files (steam). and even a reinstall. Didnt work out, any ideas please!!

Try renaming your <gamedir>/data/startup.cfg - that will reset audio, some UI and graphics settings.

Thanks for your advice! I solved it by makeing a clean reinstall. Im currently working on getting my settings back.
