File Not Found - since update

I get this pop up since the update after trying to start the game, it tries to load for a bit on the initial loading screen then crashes to desktop.

 

I've never had this issue after an update before and ideally I don't want to have to reinstall and spend all that time remapping keys.

I have resolved this issue through Steam.

 

Right clicked the game in my library and selected Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files

 

After patiently waiting for it to scan the files it found 24 files that needed fixing, it does this automatically by downloading them through steam just like a normal update. After this the game launched perfectly. Process took about 10-15 mins.

 

Hope this helps someone in future as I had no clue this was a thing.
