Lesson learned!!

Had massive problems with Sturmovik. My young son solved it when over a video call he said Dad you have your monitor plugged into the CPU. Should be the graphic card!! I changed it and now all good. I had just moved and set up my rig again. Spent so much time trying to solve issues. But the solution was right in front of me!! I posted several times on forum so thanks so much for all the help. I certainly learned a lot. See you in the skies! Cheers Ken

I never been a techno geek. But I become dumber by the years. My son taken over all the data trouble things.
I think my patience is wearing thin, I bought a G2 VR goggles to replace my rift s many moons ago, I have yet not tried it because I miss a Bluetooth adapter. I can’t be bothered buying that and set it up. I am not dumber , maybe just not that interested anymore maybe

Monitor plugged into CPU? Is that possible?

I suppose he meant pluggin into HDMI port of the integrated GPU (integrated into CPU). These are obviously located higher than dedicated GPU ports, but If someone doesn't work on computer often and doesn't have much experience, it's an easy mistake to make.

I own a Rift S and three Reverb G2 headsets and I honestly don't understand why you need a  Bluetooth adapter. The G2 is a tethered set, like the Rift S. The two are interchangeable on my RTX 2080 Ti GPU.

It say I need it when setting it up

Oh how do you pass the install when it say it is not compitable

The Reverb G2 launches from Windows Mixed Reality, but you also need "Steam VR for WMR" for most games. You should be able to at least explore in the WMR cliff house environment.

Think that is what I meant. Thanks for clarifying

PC Gaming can be hard work sometimes. I try and treat each problem as a challenge. But like you my patience is wearing thin
