HELP! Unable to run resolutions over 3840x720 = Black Screen or off center

 HELP! I'm trying to run my triple monitors at my max bezel-corrected resolution which is 5844x1080 for triple 27" monitors. Unfortunately every time I load a game up the entire screen goes black at the point I should be in the cockpit. I can hear the sounds, I can see the mini-map, and I can even see icons from way points and vehicles, but other than that, I just see black.

 

I've tried a few different video settings while trying to get it to display, and while there hasn't been any consistency with what those settings are, I am sometimes able to see my cockpit. Sadly, I am then greeted with a completely off center focal point on the screen. It looks like my pilots head is tucked in the back left corner of the cockpit and when zooming in it goes diagonally from the back left corner to the front right. It is the same way in external mode with the focal point being off center from the plane ( plane is off to the right.)

 

The highest possible resolution I have been able to use without any issue is 3840x720 and a bezel corrected version. If anyone has any ideas that would be greatly appreciate as I have no clue what to do from this point.

I mean I can play on the lower res triple screen, but its just so blurry/jagged.

Ah bummer, any ideas as to how some people have managed to get it working while others can't? I've seen some vids where there appears to be no issue.

 

For what its worth though, even playing on a crappy resolution, this game is still great and I can't wait for it to be full developed.

No ideas yet on why some folks (such as Sperber) are out of luck on 3-screen and others are not. Tough break when you're used to such great wide screen eye candy.

 

I too am playing with reduced resolution and I've gotten used to it. It will be great when they fix the bug.

Using a Triple head 2 go I've run it at 5040x1050 although at the moment I'm using 3840x1024.

Ironically, I can't fly CloD in triple screen anymore unless I reinstall the sim (some sort of file corruption after a few flights).

 

Statement? Yes, but only part of the whole statement that Jason made. I felt that his statement was reasonable given that the game has not been released yet and they have limited resources.

 

I'm glad to hear that you got 3840 x 720 working. That's something at least.

if you look at the bug more closely, you can see how complicated that must be...

 

As a paying customer, I would be satisfied if would be made.a clear statement of the developers about the BUG

Yes, I do miss my wide-screen Spit (the plane, not my reaction to another FW190 delay).

 

Hopefully, the bug will be squashed and we can return to full BoS glory.
